Protected RAM File System (PRAMFS)


Description:

Described as light-weight, full-featured, and space-efficient, ideal for systems with a block of fast non-volatile RAM that need to access data on it using a standard filesytem interface. Minimizes opportunities for errant writes that can corrupt file system data in system RAM. File system designed by MontaVista Software for embedded systems - MontaVista has a patent pending on this code, but is licensing the patent freely for use in GPL software
